Many people fail to make consistent progress because they
don't stick with a proven training method or nutritional program
long enough to harvest the long-term beneficial results.

In order to achieve fitness success, you must have long term
vision, patience, and you must be willing to stick with the
fundamentals. Short term vision and goal setting leads to
failure and disappointment.

When seeking proper nutrition it is important to switch your
foods up often and not eat the same foods every day.

5 Key Nutritional Strategies to lose weight
Follow these nutritional guidelines for success:

Employ a low-fat diet. Since fat tends to accumulate
around the midsection, you can actually develop nice
abs that are hidden below the fat. If you want your abs to
show, you must eat a low fat diet.
Drink a lot of water.  Regardless of fitness goals, this is
a sound health strategy for everyone. Water is a great
appetite reducer.
Cut down on junk foods and sugar. Consider what you
eat as either helping or hurting your goals of weight/fat
loss. Forget about cake and cookies and opt for fruits
and vegetables.
Prepare and order foods right. Avoid deep fried
everything. Eat the baked potato but leave out the
mounds of butter. Steam vegetables and trim fat from
meats. Think about the food your about to eat and order,
and if there is a better way for it to be prepared.
Eat several small meals a day. Instead of eating 3 large
meals, your body will utilize more nutrients and speed
up your metabolism by eating 4-6 smaller meals.
